Jim is a certainly a perfectionist and has delivered us the most amazing outdoor space that we can enjoy all year round. From the start of this project to the finish Jim kept clear and open communication with us throughout. He was always available to discuss the project and if he didn’t think something would work or there was an alternative that would save us money then he would speak to us. Jim didn’t waste any materials and everything was ordered to minimise waste and throughout he was looking after every penny of our money like it was own.

 Our initial discussion about what we were looking for was taken in to account and Jim returned with a competitive price for our own bespoke cabin in keeping with our style. What made Jim stand out from other quotes was that this was to our taste and not based on a certain size or spec and it wasn’t going to be ‘just another’ cabin. 

 As a family of three with a toddler and my wife heavily pregnant it wasn’t an ideal building site. This never became the case, Jim made sure that throughout the job he left our garden tidy at the end of each day which was particularly important with a curious two year old wanting to play ‘Bob the Builder’. Living in a terraced house and with a house proud wife we (she) was a little concerned when transferring materials etc. the house would be damaged. We need not worry Jim was always careful and considerate of the family. 

 Our final project is simply amazing. Our stunning space covers the full width of our garden and includes a fully plastered heated cabin with spot lights, WiFi, electrical sockets, sofa bed, laminate flooring, tv mounted on the wall and full on play area for our son. In fact it is actually multi purpose space that we see changing as the family gets older and our interests and hobbies change.  

 The hidden utility room includes, spot lights, floor to ceiling bike rack, garden storage and a tumble dryer fully integrated in to a kitchen unit and work surface area. This space is a must and compliments the wonderful living space. Our son currently uses the space all year round and with the bifold doors it makes for a perfect space in the summer and one you can watch the children play in.     

 We are so delighted with the high quality finish and the workmanship that has gone in to this beautiful space. It has withstood a harsh winter and the hidden guttering means and rain water always drains away. 

 On arrival at our house all our guests are instantly drawn to the cabin and compliment us on how wonderful it looks. Our neighbours have also been complimentary of the grey cement board cladding used on the sides and back all considerations made to them by Jim when planning the build. 

 We can not imagine our house without this extra space and can not believe we didn’t commit to this project sooner. I can honestly say that Jim was a gentleman and pleasure to work with and we think he’s earned every penny of our money. With the arrival of our second son we are now four and we can’t thank Jim enough for completing our family home and maximising our living space in the capital.
